Available in thicknesses of 1.6, 2 or 2.4 mm

Rod length: 1 metre; pack/tube: 1 kg

Ideal for welding dissimilar materials such as stainless and carbon steels.

Stainless steel TIG rods for welding and repair of ferritic and austenitic steels, and for steels that are difficult to weld, including those containing 13% manganese. Suitable for use up to an operating temperature of 1000°C, they are used in tool steels, well casings, bearing applications and steels with a similar chemical composition. It is also used for joining mixed steels, heat-treatable or quenched and tempered steels, high-carbon steels, etc. The deposited metal improves resistance to atmospheric conditions and friction.

Its high mechanical properties and high resistance to cracking make this material suitable for universal use.
