HELVI GALILEO 160 IN HARD CASE AND ACCESSORIES
A compact welder, weighing only 6.6 kg, it is easy to transport and handle thanks to the practical bag that comes with the power source. The welding current is adjustable via an easy-to-understand control panel.
Galileo 160 is a DC welding power source for coated electrode and TIG trigger lift welding. Ideal for professional use, excellent for maintenance and material removal due to a high duty cycle; supports the use of rutile, basic, stainless steel, cast iron, etc. electrodes.
Maximum current 160 A
Excellent for welding coated electrodes with diameters from 1.6 to 4 millimetres. Helvi Galileo 160 has a high duty cycle and can work at 130 A at 100% and 160 A at 60%.
Galileo 160 is equipped with a self-protection device against overvoltage and overtemperature.
The welder allows intensive welding of electrodes from 3.2 to 4.0 mm in diameter.
The generator is equipped with the most advanced automatic systems to assist the operator during welding:
HOT-START : voltage peak during ignition to facilitate the ignition of the welding arc, very useful for the ignition of basic coated electrodes.
ANTI-STICK : automatic system that prevents the electrode from sticking to the base material.
ARC-FORCE : device that increases the force of the arc; useful when the operator is welding in particular positions.
Galileo 160 welder is supplied with:
- Instruction manual,
- Electrode holder clamp with 3 metre cable and 25mm2
- Grounding pliers with 2 metre cable and 25 mm2
- Capacious reinforced canvas bag, ideal for transporting the welder and accessories
The generator, with 50 mm2 DINSE, can weld steel and stainless steel using a TIG torch (optional) with Lift striking and a manual gas valve.
