Sentinel A70 Air Pro – Advanced protection with PAPR

The Sentinel A70 Air Pro combines the robust performance of the A70 Pro with the highest level of respiratory protection. Featuring an integrated air ducting system, the mask connects to ESAB’s EPR-X1.1 PAPR to provide EN 12941 TH3P-certified filtration, delivering a reliable supply of clean air even in the most challenging welding environments.

A wide ADF field of view with an adjustable shade range of 3/5–13 keeps everything under control, whilst the flip-up design and large grinding visor allow you to switch easily between tasks. In low-light conditions, the 50-lumen LED work light improves visibility, whilst Bluetooth connectivity via the ESAB Helmet Connect app provides digital control and customisation.

FEATURES OF THE EPR-X1.1

ESAB’s EPR-X1.1 PAPR unit fits perfectly with all current ESAB welding helmets designed for air supply and provides advanced respiratory protection against harmful particles in welding fumes.

This PAPR is designed for applications ranging from occasional use to full-time industrial use. The EPR-X1.1 features a robust and compact design with a powerful fan to ensure maximum durability and performance. Check the battery status, fan settings and filter condition at a glance with the quick-access LED status indicators. In addition, the PAPR provides audible and vibration alerts to warn the welder of low airflow (indicating the need to replace the filter) and low battery conditions.

The EPR-X1.1’s turbo unit is controlled via easy-access buttons offering three airflow speed settings of 170/190/210 l/min. The spark arrestor and the two-stage HEPA filter, certified to EN12941 TH-3P, are easily accessible via a removable front door.
