HELVI JET 160 KIT IN PLASTIC CASE

Small, easily transportable and handy welding machine with a simple and intuitive control panel. Jet 160 is a DC welding power source for coated electrode welding, ideal for do-it-yourself welding or maintenance; supports the use of rutile, basic, stainless, cast iron  electrodes.

Maximum current of 160A.

Excellent for welding coated electrodes with diameters from 1.6 to 4 mm. Helvi Jet 160 has a duty cycle of 100A at 100% and 35% at maximum current of 160A. Almost fully exploitable with the 3KW of the domestic grid, it allows intensive welding of 2-2.5 and 3.25 mm diameter rutile electrodes.

The generator is equipped with the most advanced automatic systems to help the operator during welding:

HOT-START : voltage peak during initiation to facilitate the ignition of the welding arc, very useful for the ignition of basic coated electrodes.

ANTI-STICK : automatic system that prevents the electrode from sticking to the base material.

ARC-FORCE : device that increases the force of the arc; useful when the operator is welding in particular positions.

Enables DC TIG welding for steel and stainless steel with optional torch with valve and lift trigger.

Jet 160 welder is supplied ready to use, the generator is sold including:

• electrode holder clamp with 3 metre cable and 16 mmq,
• grounding pliers with 2 metre cable and 16 mmq,
• a hammer/brush for cleaning the slag,
• hand mask with 75x98 glass
• shock-proof case
