The professional drill press is an essential tool for drilling flat surfaces, achieving excellent results in terms of precision and timing. The name benchtop drill press derives precisely from the fact that this tool is equipped with a power tool in a vertical position with respect to the workbench.
The main feature of the fervi drill press is precisely that it has a drilling element which, by means of a lever controlled by the operator, slowly rises and falls vertically in order to drill with precision. If the bench drill is equipped with a special regulator, it is also possible to adjust the inclination at which it is to be drilled. Various types of materials can be drilled with this power tool, such as wood, plastics, resins, steel sheets and profiles, aluminium and other metal alloys, with a drilling depth ranging from 30 to 80 millimetres, depending on the type of fervi drill used.
