GYS PROTIG 201 AC/DC

Protig 201 ac/dc is an inverter welding machine for TIG and MMA welding, suitable for working on iron, stainless steel, cast iron in DC and aluminium and alloys in AC. The arc ignition in TIG mode can be selected between HF (high frequency) or LIFT.

This welding machine has a maximum current of 200 A in AC and 160 A in DC; the welding generator has a duty cycle of 110 A at 60%; it is suitable for many sectors: automotive, light carpentry, installations, repairs... and thanks to the new design reinforced with solid protection rubber bumps, it is also suitable to be used on construction sites.

Protig 201 AC/DC is equipped with PFC. This energy-saving component corrects voltage fluctuations in the input current and permits the welding machine to be used with long extension cables or powered by a motorgenerator.

GYS Protig201 ac/dc has a simple and complete control panel that permits the operator to customise all the TIG welding settings : Pre-gas, slope up, slope Down, Post gas, AC balance, AC frequency, Pulsed, Spot, 2T/4T, 4T LOG and Ac easy (synergic mode, easy to set, for aluminium welding).

With Protig 201 AC/DC, it is possible to weld with the MMA process, using rutile and basic coated electrodes with thicknesses from 1.6 to 4 mm; HOT-START adjustable, ANTI-STICK, ARC-Force.
