Solid, low-alloy copper-coated wire with Ni-Cu-Cr additions, designed for weather-resistant steel. Thanks to the
chemical composition and mechanical properties of the weld metal, it is also used for welding high-tensile-strength steels.
Suitable for the construction of containers, tanks, bridges, building panels, chimneys, transport vehicles, offshore platforms, etc.
The welding material exhibits good resistance to atmospheric corrosion and salt water.

It is suitable for welding thin, galvanised or electro-galvanised sheets. Zinc forms a very compact and stable protective layer on the surface of the steel, protecting it from rust and corrosion. During welding, the surface zinc melts, partially evaporating and partially diluting in the weld pool. To avoid zinc residues in the deoxidising elements of the deposit, Al and Ti are added. After welding, it is recommended to restore the protective surface in the weld area and adjacent areas using cold galvanising products.

Wire developed for welding galvanised structural constructions. The presence of microalloying elements is optimised to minimise zinc contamination in the weld pool, allowing direct welding on the galvanised surface and minimising spatter. It therefore exhibits better welding characteristics than standard non-alloyed wires. Good resilience at low temperatures. The use of the wire with synergic inverter generators allows excellent results to be obtained.
