Progys 200 CEL is a single-phase DC inverter welder designed for professionals seeking reliable and durable equipment. This particular welder allows for the welding of all types of coated electrodes, not only rutile, basic, stainless steel and cast iron electrodes, but also cellulose electrodes (for pipe welding) and aluminium electrodes with diameters ranging from 1.6 to 5 mm.
4 WELDING MODES:
MMA: Welds all rutile, basic and cellulosic electrodes (up to Ø 5 mm).
Pulsed MMA: ideal mode for vertical up-welding positions (pipes/tubing, etc.). Option to adjust the frequency and percentage of cold current.
DC TIG with lift ignition (Ø 1.6 to 2.4 mm).
Pulsed TIG: limits the melting temperature and allows welding of sheet metal up to 0.3 mm thick.
PROGYS 200 CEL can deliver a welding current of up to 200 A, which can be easily adjusted using the handy LCD control panel on the front of the welder. The PROGYS 200 CEL has a duty cycle of 100 A at 60%.
The operator can select the desired percentage of Arc-Force and Hot Start to best adapt their welding style to the coated electrode being used.
On the front panel there are two 50 mm² DINSE connectors, to which an optional TIG torch can also be connected for welding iron and stainless steel.
VRD (Voltage Reduction Device) can be activated to reduce the no-load output voltage to < 35 V
