Lincoln Bester S 171 is a compact and easy-to-use welding machine for coated electrode welding (MMA). Weighing just 3.5 kg, it is easy to transport.
It is a DC direct current welding generator suitable for light maintenance work. Suitable for welding rutile, basic, stainless steel and cast iron electrodes with diameters from 1.6 to 3.2 millimetres; 50 mm² DINSE connections.
It is possible to weld with DC TIG welding with LIFT ignition on steel and stainless steel with the addition of a torch with valve (optional).
Lincoln Bester S 171 has a n easy control panel supported by an LCD screen for quick and intuitive adjustment; this welding machine can generate a maximum current of 160 amps, with a duty cycle of 95 A at 60% and 160 A at 20%, almost fully exploitable with the 3 kW of the domestic mains supply.
