Compact welding machine, with only 6 kg weight, it is easily transportable and manageable thanks to the practical bag included with the generator. The welding current is adjustable by an easy control panel.

Galileo 179 is a DC welding power source for coated electrode and TIG DC lift process. It is ideal for professional use, excellent for repairs and material recovery thanks to a high duty cycle; it supports the use of rutile, basic, stainless steel, cast iron electrodes...

Excellent for welding coated electrodes with diameters from 1.6 to 4 mm. Helvi Galileo 179 has a high duty cycle and can work at 130 Amps at 100% and 160 A at 60%.

Galileo 179 is equipped with a self-protection device for overvoltage and overtemperature.

Thanks to the self-protection devices it can be connected to long power lines or to motogenerators with a suggested power of 10KW. The welding machine allows intensive welding of electrodes from 3.2 to 4.0 mm.

The generator is equipped with the most advanced automatic systems to help the user during the welding process:

HOT-START, ANTI-STICK and ARC-FORCE

The generator can weld iron and stainless steel using a TIG torch (optional) with Lift ignition and gas valve.

Helvi Galileo 179 welder is supplied with:
