GYS GYSMI E163

GYSMI E163 is a single-phase DC inverter welding machine for MMA or TIG process with LIFT arc. Ideal for installations or light repairs on iron, stainless steel, cast iron... (no aluminum). Easy control panel with digital display for precise reading.

The generator is very compact, only 4 kg of weight and easy to carry; thanks to the belt. GYS has equipped Gysmi E163 with thermostatic self-protection, undervoltage and overvoltage up to 400V.

GYSMI E163 has a minimum current of 10A and a maximum current of 160 A; this welding generator has a duty cycle of 85A at 60%, suitable for MMA welding with rutil, basic, stainless steel and cast iron electrodes with a thickness between 1.6 and 4 mm.

In TIG welding it can be used a tungsten up to 2.4 mm.

The welding machine has the PULSE MMA function; this technology simplifies the welding in vertical position and gives less deformation on the metal. The welding machine is equipped with the following systems:

Anti-stick and Arc Force;

Adjustable hot start: voltage peak during electrode ignition to start easily basic or particular electrodes.

When using GYSMI E163 in TIG process, it’s possible to set the slope down function from 0 to 10 seconds, very useful to fill the end-of-weld crater.
