LINCOLN INVERTEC 170S

Lincoln Invertec 170S is a welding machine for electrode welding (MMA) with only 7 kg weight. Realized to be used on the work site, the welding generator is equipped with 2 meters insulated power cable and the external frame has many solid rubber bumpers to protect it from shocks.

It is a DC welding power source designed and built for people who make welding their profession. Ideal for welding rutile, basic, stainless steel, cast iron, electrodes with diameters from 1.6 to 4 mm; 25 mmq DINSE connections. It is possible to weld iron and stainless steel using the TIG process with LIFT ignition and a Tig torch with gas valve.

Lincoln Invertec 170S has an easy control panel supported by an LCD screen for quick and intuitive setting; this welder can generate a maximum current of 160 Amps and a duty cycle of 80 A at 100% and 160 A at 20% and it is made for heavy duty use.

The generator is equipped with the most advanced automatic systems as:

HOT-START : voltage peak during ignition to facilitate the start of the welding arc, useful for basic coated electrodes.

ANTI-STICK : automatic system that prevents the electrode sticking to the base material.

Also, being a professional welding, Lincoln has equipped this power source with some additional devices to increase the quality of the welding:

ARC-FORCE self-adapting: for a stable arc with low spatter levels as standard.

SOFT & CRISP: selectable mode to optimise the welding arc for different electrode types.
